Jenny is at the forefront of ARM’s experimental and forward-looking use of materials and technology. A senior design architect, she uses computational tools, and parametric strategies to generate and manipulate shapes and structures, colour and space.
“I set the rules and goals that help it grow and change.”
We recognised her design instinct early, and her intuitive understanding of geometry and context – in a university class taught by Andrew Lilleyman. She’s grown with ARM her entire career, modelling the collaborative approach that leads to designs built with a community, and not just for them.
Jenny’s instinct scales from a bike shed to an entire city waterfront – she worked on Elizabeth Quay through its whole process, and has designed for user groups as different as theatre companies, firefighters and the elephants at Werribee Open Range Zoo. She’s currently the design architect on East Perth Primary School, a vertically stacked school setting a new benchmark for educational infrastructure in Western Australia.
