We've Switched to 100% Certified Greenpower
1 February 2020
Architects all over Australia are overwhelmingly aware of our responsibility to contribute to a sustainable future.
This applies to the buildings and places we design and to our business operations.
Last year, ARM became a founding signatory to Australian Architects Declare. It’s more than an in-principle commitment: it means following a three-stage process to become carbon neutral by the end of 2020.
Step 1 was switching to 100% Certified GreenPower by the end of January. (Done!)
Step 2 is a carbon audit by 30 June.
Step 3 is achieving total carbon neutrality by 30 December.
Stay tuned.
“For everyone working in the construction industry, meeting the needs of our society without breaching the earth’s ecological boundaries will demand a paradigm shift in our behaviour.”
